The WG internal intent w.r.t. getting to what we think is "done" status is approximately March '04. We may be off by a couple of months or so, but I don't expect it'll be longer than that. However, it does take about an additional year to go thru last call, candidate rec, proposed rec and finally rec status. I'm quite confident that part 1 is pretty stable and close to done already. The SOAP binding is nearly there too. The HTTP binding needs quite a bit of work to bring it in line with the removal of <message>, but I expect that'll happen by the next draft. I am the editor of part 1 of WSDL 2.0. However, this message is my personal opinion and not by any means a formal position of the WSDL WG. Phew. Sanjiva.
