Subject: Re: [wsbpel] RE: [wsbpel-uc] Groups - Rescheduled Conf Call added

Hi Phil and John,

I think it is a good idea to get input ideas from Proforma on how they think an abstract BPEL should look like and their intended usage of abstract BPEL.  It seems to me that they have interesting customer profiles and they have hands-on experience in this domain.

And, just to clarify ... an example I shall try to cook is about whether it make sense to have an optional switch on constraining opaque activities and attributes are only extension points. My gut feelings tell me that we would allow arbitrary extension from abstract BPEL without using opaque activities by default.

Thanks!

Alex to get the example out ASAP (thanks Alex).
Or maybe we can Look at what is available from
Proforma (a company Unisys is working with).
They claim to have a Suitable syntax for
abstract BPEL processes. I would Be willing to

Phil,

We decided to continue having the Use Case Conf Calls on alternate
Tuesdays (weeks in which we do not have a TC call) at 4 PM ET.

I will be posting the minutes/action items later today. Sorry for any
confusion I may have caused regarding today's call.

John

Yin Leng - actually later is better for me.

7pm EST would be cool.

Just a lot happens in that 4 to 6:30pm window!

DW.

4 pm EDT is equivalent to 6 am for me in Australia.
Unfortunately, any earlier time like 2 pm EDT (= to 4 am in
Australia)
will not work for me.

Thanks,

The same usually applies to me; I can accommodate 4pm EST, but
earlier
would
be better for the same reasons.

Thx,
Rand

John,

Just got back in and saw the note.

4pm to 5pm EST is tough from myself on EST - as
it usually corresponds to some rush out the door - or
need to finish something before rushing out of the door!

Can we do 2 to 3pm EST in future? What does everyone
else think?

Thanks, DW
