Subject: RE: [wsbpel] Issue - 169 - Proposal for Vote
As discussed we should restate the core of this issue as: The concurrency model for transition condition evaluation is currently unspecified in cases where multiple links share a single source activity. This needs to be clarified. A proposed resolution for Issue 169: transition condition error handling clarification Modify "12.5.1. Link Semantics" as follows. After NOTE: The transition condition is evaluated after the activity has completed. If an error occurs while evaluating the transition condition, that error does not affect the completion status of the activity and is handled by the source activity's enclosing scope. Insert The error also does not affect the status determination of other outgoing links. If evaluating all the transition conditions results in more than one error, only one that is arbitrarily chosen is propagated to the enclosing scope.
