Clarifications on correlationViolation for outbound messages

Hi,

 

If a invoke activity fails with correlationViolation fault for the out message (pattern out or out-in), is the request actually send out or not? It seems to me that it is not, but I couldn’t find anything in the spec to confirm this. Maybe this is considered a obvious point…
