Schedule for TC work

I've had a couple folks ask about our
schedule so thought it might be helpful to send it in a stand alone email.
 This is the timeline we approved at the last f2f meeting in Jan to
get us to OASIS Standard for the BPEL spec.  As was noted at the time,
this is not a binding schedule, but represents the intent of the TC.  
We're a bit behind on completing the committee draft with all resolutions
by Mar.1 for approval by Mar. 15, but since we completed and approved the
restructure earlier than we had planned, I think it's possible to keep
close to this timing.  If anyone has questions, lets discuss them
on the call this week.

• Finish issues 2-4 weeks  Jan 31
• Incorporate resolutions in draft 2-4 weeks Mar 1
• Approve committee draft (inclusive of all normative changes from all issues) 2 weeks Mar 15
• Face to face meeting to start editing cycle (end to end consistency, restructure) 5 days Mar 20-24
• Editing complete for public review candidate 3 weeks (Public review candidate sent for TC review) April 15
• Approve public review candidate 2 weeks May 1  
• Public review  60 days May 1 - June 30

If appropriate continue
editing for improved readability 
Start review and work on public comments
as they are received

• Face to face meeting to review/address public comments Week of July 10, 17, 24 or 31
• Prepare updated public review candidate 2 weeks Aug 1
• Second public review cycle 15 days Aug 15
• Committee spec Aug 30
• OASIS Standard Oct. 15  
  Notes:

Dates show approximate
completion for each event.  Some depend on OASIS process steps or
staff actions and are not under TC control.     
Dates following the first public review
may be effected by the timing of the f2f in July where the public review
comments handling is finalized.   (Eg, if the f2f is not held until
July 31, it will take an additional 2  weeks to get the ballot for
a second public review cycle completed and the public review will start
on Aug 15 rather than end on Aug. 15.)
