Subject: [wsbpel] Issue - 256 - Proposal for Vote
Revised and adopted resolution for 256: in the 2nd paragraph of 10.4. ... (1) add the following after the first sentence (which defines "start activities"): ---- If an <extensionActivity> child element is itself a start activity then it MUST exhibit the behavior of receiving an inbound message. If an <extensionActivity> child element is itself a start activity or contains a start activity then the namespace of the <extensionActivity> child element MUST be declared with mustUnderstand="yes". ---- (2) replace the "NO other ..." sentence with: ---- The only activities that are allowed to be performed prior to or simultaneously with a "start activity" are scope, flow, sequence, empty, or an extensionActivity with the following characteristics: the <extensionActivity> child element MUST be a structured activity containing the "start activity". This structured activity MUST be consistent with the WS-BPEL process instantiation model, that is, it MUST not be a repeatable activity or execute another activity before the start activity. For other semantic constraints, see section "5.3. Language Extensibility". ---- Kind Regards DK Dieter König Mail: dieterkoenig@de.ibm.com IBM Deutschland Entwicklung GmbH Senior Technical Staff Member Tel (office): (+49) 7031-16-3426 Schönaicher Strasse 220 Architect, Business Process Choreographer Fax (office): (+49) 7031-16-4890 71032 Böblingen Member, Technical Expert Council Tel (home office): (+49) 7032-201464 Germany
