Subject: Re: [wsbpel] Issue - 284 - target namespace URI update

Hi Peter,

Hmmm .... I guess there are two kinds of NS URI.

One kind is not associated with an XML Schema. (e.g. expression language URI) I think we should stick with URN in those cases.

The other kind is associated with an XML Schema. (e.g. target NS for Exec and Abstract BPEL). In this case, I am open to change from URN style to URL style with a de-referenceable URI. (Starting with "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsbpel/...")

(e.g.: http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd)
Crossing back to the GED discussion, I would like to mention once again: this de-referenceable URI feature further shows one namespace should be mapped to be one XSD (instead of multiple).

Thanks.

Regards,
Alex Yiu

Just so its accessibly on the record, what were the arguments for choosing URN style rather than URL ?

(only very brief, and I've no real view either way, but I slightly thought the trend was to URL recently)
