Subject: [wsdm] Namespace separation
reminder
For those who were not on the call
today, this is a pretty important remindier. We have decided to separate
namespaces for WSDLs and XML Schemas. The reason is that URL namespaces SHOULD
resolve to something meaningful, e.g. the schema or WSDL document. If both
have the same namespace then it is not possible to determine should it resolve
to WSDL or XML Schema document. If other specifications start using WSDM
schema and WSDLs it will be a mess. Also separating namespaces makes it clear
that WSDL must <xsd:import> and that is good for the
interop.
So, that means we'll
have
muws-wsdl http://…/muws/wsdl
muws-xs http://…/muws/schema
mows-wsdl http://.../mows/wsdl
mows-xs http://…/mows/schema
Schemas, WSDLs and two spec
documents will have to be changed accordingly.
