I'm not convinced that WSDM can manage security, first of all not all elements of security can be express as a "resource" and not all manageable elements of security are described as policies. Also if the manageable elements are policies I would expect the policy interfaces to provide the proper management interfaces not WSDM. . So I think its best if this groups starts with a couple of scenarios.

per our call today, I'm starting this email thread on managing policies for secure Web services.

Given that security can be managed for 'any IT resource' using WSDM, are there specific additional requirements
when that IT resource is a Web service?
