Also

#1 what makes you guys so sure that nested predicates are not going to
break tooling? Setting up proper namespace context for an Xpath
processor is so much easier...

#2 Why boolean()????!!!!! Like I said the result of the expression is
EXACTLY THE NODESET of the notification message. One can use that when
feeding to the Xpath processor. WS-Topics does not require one to
declare a boolean() wrapped expression. This is very unnecessary here.

#3 I believe that for every event topic we declare we should provide
which SituationCategory it needs to belong to and express that in Xpath.

Here is what you got:

boolean(//ManagementEvent[

namespace-uri(.)='http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsdm/2004/12/muws/wd-wsdm-m
uws-part1-1.0.xsd'
        and count(ResourcePropertyValueChangeNotification[

namespace-uri(.)="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsrf/2004/06/wsrf-WS-Resour
ceProperties-1.2-draft-01.xsd"])=1])
