Hi Igor,
I didn't receive any information about what changes to make
to the spec now that it is a standard and I didn't see this information in the
OASIS process description or templates. So I just made the changes that seemed
obvious to me, based on the existing OASIS standards out there. Basically change
the status from committee draft to standard, change the text to say that it is a
standard and remove the "cd-" from the name and the identifier. Oh and also fix
a few things about the WSDM Event Format that have always bothered me. Just
kidding.
The XML files should be the same as the ones already
posted, expect that these are marked as "standard" in the repository system. I
could have fished for the existing ones and marked them as standards but I
figure it would be safer to be 100% sure and do one massive upload of all the
standard spec, so they are all together (if sorted by date) and I know for sure
that these are the right ones. But if people are using URLs to XML file that
came with the committee draft there is no reason to change for now. The time to
change is when the specs and XML docs are all at the location corresponding to
the namespaces.

William, why did you resubmit all the XSDs and WSDLs? They are already
available in their final form at the final URLs. What is it that we need to do
to them now?

[wsdm] Standard version of WSDM MUWS
Hi all,
I modified MUWS Part 1 and Part 2 to reflect
the fact that they are now
standards. I also changed the references from
one to the other to use
the new URLs (without the "cd-" in front) (Igor,
remember to do the same
when you produce the standard version of MOWS,
point to the standard
version of MUWS not the committee draft). I also
modified the errata to
point to the standard, not the committee drafts. I
modified the date of
the specs to today (date of last edit) but didn't
change the namespaces,
they are still 2004/12. All the XSD, WSDL and events
docs are unchanged.
There is no technical change whatsoever in the
specs.
Let me know if anything else needs to be changed, as far as I
know these
docs are not changing anymore. I marked them "standard" on the
OASIS
site (except the erratas that are still "committee
drafts").
Here is a recap of where to find the specs. I provide both
the
machine-generated URLs (already valid) and the "proper" URLs. Note
that
the proper URLs are not up yet, but they are the URLs that should
be
used to reference the docs. And once they're up they should be the
only
URLs used to retrieve the docs (even though the machine-generated
URLs
will keep working).

directory structure in the zip file so all the XML
files are in the
"muws" subdirectory) so that the "proper" URLS become
valid.
