[2]
-
Approved unanimously.

4. Issues list [3]
- Actions
- Marc Goodner
to write a draft response for PR0002 and circulate.
There
was some confusion on what this actually meant.
Clarification was provided to indicate that
this is a blurb
needed to respond to each issue that summarizes
what actions
or inaction that will be taken as a result.
- Tony Nadalin to investigate the old
and new XML Signature Syntax
and Processing specs and old/new Canonicalization
specs to
determine if a revision of the existing references
or if new
references are appropriate in order to maintain backwards
compatibility.
Work
in progress. Expected resolution this week. (i.e. by
Friday 10/17).
- Don
Schmidt to create and distribute a draft response for PR0001.
Same
comment as the first action above. Don will get with
Marc to construct a short formal response.
-
Mike McIntosh to create and distribute a draft response for
PR0003.
Once Tony's
review is written up (see action item above),
Mike will use it to construct a response.

WS-MEX and WS-RT are now both publically available
W3C
Member Submissions. WSFED Spec references to these
should be updated accordingly.
References
will be updated in the next spec revision
pass.
ACTION: Assign
to editors: Status Pending.
Note though not explicitly stated in the meeting,
here
are the publically referenced URL's for these two
W3C Member Submissions.

PR0001:
Revise federation metadata document structure to eliminate
ambiguities
and improve interoperability[6]
Did not apply the edit exactly as proposed.
In the proposal
there were singular forms that already existed
in plural.
Changes reused these pre-existing constructs.
The schema
upload matches the document 08. The Schema
examples still
need to be converted to exemplars in the document.
The changes reflected in the current revised
draft editions
[4] and [5] should be looked at closely
STATUS: Change to Review
PR0002:
Federation metadata, DNS SRV, and RFC 2782 [7]
Awaiting
draft response from Marc Goodner. See action
item above.
STATUS:
No spec change.
PR0003:
Should WS-Federation references to XML DSig be
updated
to Edition
2? [8]
Tony
Nadalin is writing up a solution and targeting
completion by the end of this week. Mike McIntosh
will construct a formal response once Tony
has completed
this.
STATUS: Active.
NEW
ISSUES:
None
raised at today's meeting.
5. Revised Editors Drafts [4] and [5]
There should
be another revision before the next meeting
(October 28th) which accommodates updates
for i0015, PR0003
and exemplar portion of PR0001.
6. Other business
None.
7. Roll Call Additions
No
additions.
8. Adjournment
Meeting
