Folks -- here is the list of candidate use cases which came out of a first
pass through the scenarios during last Friday afternoon's working session.
The first couple will be worked up for review by the TC, hopefully in time
for this Friday's regular Noon-1 telecon.

Candidate WSIA Use cases


1.    Aggregated: Pass-through aggregation (independent apps, no
initialization or return of results, no synchronization)
   Included scenarios:
-     Portal
-     Plus simple transcoding (not application dependent)

2.    Integrated: Programmatic customization and call-return integration
(initialization and return values, consumer-set properties, no
synchronization)
·     Static (admin customization)
·     Late (at call time ? by the end user)
   Included scenarios:
-     Smart buyer
-     Mortgage calculator
-     Beauty Boutique
-     Universal bank
-     Healthcare enrollment engine
-     Employee contact search
-     Syndication of traveler's checks (data fed from EuroVacations to FI
producer)

   Potentially missing function in current scenarios:
-     Adding/deleting fields from frames, e.g. Institutional and Contact
Search scenarios

3.    Orchestration: Coupled integration (both initialization and
synchronization)
·     Synchronization
·     Flow orchestration

   Included scenarios:
-     Financial charting
-     Product configurator
-     Multimedia sports portal
-     Travelers check / Debit card

4.    Composed: Interleaved integration (customization of flow as well as
synchronization, as above)
   Included scenarios:
-     Mortgage calculator
-     Financial charting


   Potentially missing function in current scenarios:
-     Adding/deleting frames from flow
