Subject: RE: [wsrf] Groups - WSRF_IssueList_2004may12.doc uploaded
I have updated issue WSRF3 (second paragraph below) and added WSRF45. Bryan Issue WSRF3: Specify whether GetResourceProperty returns fault or empty element The specification does not define the behavior for GetResourceProperty when a property is defined in a property document schema with minOccurs='0' and the property document currently has no instance of the property. Two behaviors might be expected in this case: return an empty message, or return a fault. The same issue exists in GetMultipleResourceProperties. There is need for clarification of how to know when a property is nillable, what should be returned when a property is nillable and the value of the property is nil, and under what circumstances a nil value is returned. In WS-ResourceLifetime, the TerminationTime property description talks about returning a nil value under some circumstances. Issue WSRF45: Add elementFormDefault to all schemas The attribute 'elementFormDefault' is missing from schema element for the schemas in the following files: WS-ServiceGroup_submission.wsdl, WS-ResourceProperties_submission.wsdl, WS-ResourceLifetime_submission.wsdl, WS-ResourceLifetime_submission.xsd, WS-BaseFaults_submission.xsd. Specifications * Several Proposed Recommendations Add the 'elementFormDefault="qualified"' to the next version of the files listed above. Also, as another issue it seems that WS-ServiceGroup_submission.wsdl, WS-ResourceProperties_submission.wsdl, WS-ResourceLifetime_submission.wsdl, WS-ResourceLifetime_submission.xsd, WS-BaseFaults_submission.xsd are missing 'elementFormDefault="qualified"' attribute on xsd:schema element.
