My take on this is that the WR_Resource Lifetime and that of any security context are orthogonal and the spec will remain silent on this issue. An implementation could be designed to automatically update the security context at the same time. Of course you could expose your security context as a WS-Resoucre then the same mechanism would apply to both the resource and the security context. The final step is to extend a SeviceGroup containing both the resource and the security context and do them both at once. (Note: this collective application of operations is NOT part of the basic ServiceGroup semantics, hence the need for extension. See WSDM Collections.) -- Take care: Dr. David Snelling <d.snelling@fle.fujitsu.com> Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe Hayes Park Central Hayes End Road Hayes, Middlesex UB4 8FE +44-208-606-4649 (Office) +44-208-606-4539 (Fax) +44-7768-807526 (Mobile)
