Telcon

I tried joining the telcon about four times, and got the same result
every time - couldn't make out a word of what anyone was saying due to
horrible static on the line.  I doubt it was my connection, since the
conferencing system itself sounded fine until I actually joined.

I may try again in a few minutes, but I've dropped off for now.  :(
