Subject: Preparing for public review
We will shortly be entering public review for (most of) our specifications. During this 60 day period, non-TC members will need to use the public comment facilities to submit their comments. FYI, these can be viewed at: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wsrf-comment/ Per the TC process guidelines: "The TC chair should forward comments deserving of the TC's attention to the TC's primary email list." There is no need for TC members (other than Dave and I) to monitor the public comment list but we welcome as many eyes as we can get making sure we don't miss anything on that list. I proposed that anything that is "deserving" of our attention be tracked as we have been doing with our internal issues but with a "Contact" name qualified with "Public Review". For example: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Issue WSRFXXX: A comment <Details of public comment> For more information, see: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wsrf-comment/200504/msg00001.html Specifications · WS-ResourceProperties Notes Proposed Recommendations See proposal from .... Status: Open Contact: Buck Rogers, public review comment Cross Reference: <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Members of the TC may use the public comment facility or the internal process - all comments will end up on the same Issues List. The TC process states: "Comments from non-TC Members must be collected via the TC's archived public comment facility...The TC must track the comments received as well as the disposition of each comment. " Regards, Ian Robinson
