• A portal exposes shared portlets through a single WSDL endpoint.

• Mike’s email detailing alternate models for portlet lifecycle. Basically two questions: a) Which model is useful? b) Should models be combined if there are useful elements to both?

Action item: Rich will circulate 0.44 specification.

Action item: Mike will review the 0.4x spec to determine synergies with the portlet lifecycle models from the email (in time for next Tuesday’s call?)

• WSRP ‘registration’ concept not yet reflected in the joint interface. Should it? (Consider in terms of simplicity).

• Jeff B: Should the protocol allow for specification of intermediaries (SOAP intermediaries?) Consensus is that this is something that occurs lower in the stack.

• Charlie: Important to be able to distinguish levels of Producer sub-structure. Discussion around whether the associated naming “schema” is meta-data, and at what point the Consumer gains access to this information (registration?)
