Subject: cache and title relationship, clarification request

Got the following comment/question from my team:
"Spec doesn't really define the relationship between markup and title. Is title considered part of cache content ? If yes, where does it say that in the spec ?I see assertions like if MarkupContext.useCachedMarkup is true, then MarkupContext.markupString MUST be NULL. Why won't the spec say that MarkupContext.getPreferredTitle would be NULL too in this case."
Could we please clarify this in the spec? Thanks
This brings back the side comment I've made yesterday:
I'm under the impression that we are describing each thing well but
we do not do a very good job at indicating their contextual purpose.
Alejandro
