Subject: Re: [wsrp] User Profile Items - Draft Proposal

I can see the sentiment here, but as the way it stands now, types of
user profile items expressed at discovery time cannot (unambiguously) be
used to extract user profile items at runtime without really
understanding extensions. It is risky for a producer to search for
elements of those types within extensions.

Without runtime changes, there is little or no value in expressing
custom user profile items at discovery time. It still leaves some guess
work for interop.

Subbu
