Minutes Discussion centered in on how portlet clients could access Private Portlet Parameters. Proposal made to have the Producer inject js when a JSR362 portlet is rendered that registers an instance of an encode/decode module with the Portlet Hub. This keeps knowledge of the encode/decode to the Producer while providing a consistent interface for the portlet client to use for accessing its render parameters. Making it instance based eliminates potential namespace collisions and Producers could be encouraged to provide the module as an anonymous function such that it does not even get inject into the js namespace management at all.
