I just want to point out that if you're not planning on re-considering 
extension points, than this is strictly an editorial change, with no 
change in whether any specific document is valid or invalid.

For what it's worth, last week I made this kind of change to XKMS while 
we're in w3c last call.  It took me about half an hour, although the 
XKMS schema is much smaller than those of wss.
