Hi Tina, Depending on your objectives, you may find that the Sun XACML implementation, which I agree is at XACML 1.*, may meet your needs. AFAIK, the request/response protocol will process XACML 2.0 requests and return XACML 2.0 responses. Whatever differences exist are trivial. The main difference is in the Policy language part, which is pretty much self-contained within the PDP, and so only matters if you are defining Policies. Even there the differences w 2.0 are minimal. Also, I believe that some of the other Open Source implementations have used the Sun XACML system as a base, since it provides a strong technical foundation for building 2.0 and/or 3.0 systems.
