Subject: [xacml] Conformance Tests "complete"
I have sent Michiharu a zip file of the conformance tests to put onto our web site. TBD: 1. I did not implement tests for any of the functions involving sets or sequences. I want to wait until these are REALLY solid before I do them. 2. Function names do not match Polar and Daniel's latest list. I will fix these once we have an approved list. 3. My xml parser gives me a "unexpected literal character" everywhere I use an AttributeValue in a policy. I think it is a problem in my parser, but if anyone finds a real error let me know. Otherwise, all files parse correctly (with the exception of two that are intended to fail). 4. The Response may indicate NotApplicable or Deny in some cases where it should be Indeterminate. I will fix these as they are reported to me, once we agree that the response is incorrect. 5. The list of function tests that I implemented may not exactly match the agreed upon "mandatory" functions: there may be some extra functions included, and some functions missing. Please report these to me as you encounter them. 6. There are no tests for non-mandatory schema elements, functions, etc. Michiharu has offered to provide conformance tests for Obligations and XPath usages. Other implementors may wish to provide tests for other non-mandatory pieces of XACML. There are probably other errors, but those are probably best detected by implementors who run the tests. Please report errors to me, and I will fix them as soon as I can. Anne -- Anne H.
