Minutes of Focus Group, 10 April 2003

Agenda: Discuss the "Errata for the OASIS XACML 1.0 Committee
   Specifications" Working Draft 01, 31 March 2003

ACTION ITEMS:
[Simon] Send e-mail with template for reporting errata
[Simon] Verify whether remaining errata are fixed in the Version
        1.0 Standard.  Report back to the committee on any that
        are still unresolved.  Re-issue the Errata document,
        leaving only errata that are still unresolved.

1. Errata format

   Simon will send an e-mail with the format to use in reporting
   errata.  Currently hard to separate the actual erratum from
   the discussion.  All errata need to be submitted using the
   Version 1.0 Standard pdf line numbers and section numbers.

2. Reviewed Errata Working Draft 01, 31 March 2003

   Most of these errata were reported against working drafts, and
   not against the Version 1.0 Standard.  By comparing an older
   working draft, we were able to verify that the following are
   fixed in the Version 1.0 Standard:

   2.1. Data Type attribute incorrect
   2.2. Status element description
   3.2 Expression evaluation in Section A.6
   3.3 Use of QNames in Section 8.1
   3.5 Match operator definition
   3.6 String-equality or URI-equality?
   3.7 Obligations (Satoshi withdrew this erratum; he now feels
       Section 7.11 is clear)
   3.8 Two references for the xquery-operators
   3.10 Context Nodes

   Most of the rest we suspect are also fixed or resolved.  Simon
   will go through the errata one by one comparing the older
   draft to the Version 1.0 Standard to be sure.  Simon will send
   out an e-mail reporting any errata that were not fixed in the
   Version 1.0 Standard.
