Subject: Groups - Schema for the Web Services Profile of XACML (WS-XACML) Version 1.0 (xacml-3.0-profile-webservices-schema-v1.0-wd-7.xsd) uploaded
Here is a schema for WS-XACML. It is the schema used in the upcoming revision of the specification. I am submitting the schema itself first for test purposes. The relevant differences in the upcoming revision are: !) Rather than a single XACMLAuthzAssertion used for both authorization and privacy constraints, the new revision defines two Assertions: one for general authorization constraints, and the other for privacy constraints. This allows for more efficient Assertion matching and intersection. The two Assertions have the same format, just different names. 2) The Requirements and Capabilities sections each contain a sequence of one or more elements specifying the identities of the policy vocabularies that are used. The vocabulary identities in one Assertion's Capabilities element must be a superset of the vocabulary identities in another Assertion's Requirements element for the two Assertions to match. Identifiers are specified for P3P 1.0 policy vocabularies and for XACML 3.0 (i.e. standard XACML 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 AttributeIds) vocabularies. -- Anne Anderson The document named Schema for the Web Services Profile of XACML (WS-XACML) Version 1.0 (xacml-3.0-profile-webservices-schema-v1.0-wd-7.xsd) has been submitted by Anne Anderson to the OASIS eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) TC document repository.
