In checking with our legal folks using the short form has a problem as they are not certain what the wording was of
the policy at the time the document was generated. So your idea of the URL is better.

it seems like this is the kind of thing that would be well met by a
simple copyright notice that is served up by oasis-open.org using a
version sensitive URL:

then again, this also sounds like the kind of bright, shiny object
problem that i get sidetracked trying to solve that doesn't need fixing :)
stated more succinctly: if oasis is OK with the short version, then it's
fine by me.
