XACML TC Anniversary

I forgot to mention on the call yesterday that the XACML TC will have been in existence for 10 years as of tomorrow May 21. I have not been able to locate the Minutes or Roll from the first meeting. (The current OASIS web site began operation in 2003.) However, I am pretty sure that Bill and I are the only members left who were on the first call. Some other familiar names, including Gil Pilz (now at Oracle) and Thomas Hardjono (now at MIT Kerberos) were there, but neither played a major role in developing the specs.

The mystery is what became of Simon Y. Blackwell, who founded the TC, was its first chair and withdrew completely by early September. A Google search of Simon Y. Blackwell turns up only links from 2001. None of the Simon Blackwell's on Linkedin currently appear to be him.

P.S. Apparently there are a bunch of people who believe the world is going to end on May 21. I don't know if this is related. ;)
