Subject: RE: [xacml] JSON Profile of XACML

Actually your statement is premature. We voted to start a process which will take a number of months and (I presume) result in the JSON and REST Profiles becoming OASIS Standards. (And henceforth ITU-T Recommendations)

However, you are correct that the first step is to publish the docs as Candidate OASIS Standards (COS). TC Admin has started  this process, but discovered that in the years since the specs were finished some of the References, including especially some XACML ones, have become outdated. I have accepted an action item to fix these which will happen without the need for any more votes or other action by the TC. If as I hope, I can get these done today, you can expect to see new COS Stage documents and the announcement of a Public Review by OASIS organizational representatives.

Now that the profile has become a standard, when do the documents online get updated?

Thanks,

David.
