Editors and next steps for Use Case & Req's doc

XDI TC Members and Observers:

On our call this week we agreed on the editor team for our first
deliverable, the XDI Use Cases & Requirements 1.0 document (UCR). The
editors are Bill Barnhill, Dave McAlpin, Marc Le Maitre, and Peter Davis,
assisted by myself on the Glossary (which hopefully is nearly done).

This email is to officially hand the editors their initial assigment, which
is to prepare a first draft of the UCR for our review in New Orleans.
Specifically what matters most is that the Requirements section be fleshed
out enough to identify the key open issues that we need to discuss (and
close if at all possible) in our first day in New Orleans.

Editors, you may want to schedule your own telecon, or if desired, we can
also set up an editor's subcommittee (SC) under the XDI TC at OASIS (this
requires a vote of the TC so we can't do it until our call week on 4/19). In
any case, you can self-organize as you best see fit.

To make the editor's job easier, one step we've taken is to start culling
out the subset of use cases that we would actually publish in the UCR. A
first draft of this list is posted on the XRI/XDI wiki at
http://xrixdi.idcommons.net/moin.cgi/UseCaseMatrix and is also copied (in
wikitext format) below.

If you believe other uses cases should be included, or some of these should
be dropped, speak up by posting to the list or editing the table. Meanwhile,
all the contributors to the selected use cases should get busy finishing
their use case writeups and incorporating terms from the XDI Glossary as
necessary.
