Subject: RE: [xdi] Agenda: XDI TC Telecon Thursday 1-2PM PT 2008-03-13
Nat, you're right, I don't think any of us considered Daylight Savings. So with you in Tokyo and Giovanni in Rome, it seems we have two options: OPTION #1 - TOYKO NIGHT Tokyo 23:00 (11PM) Pacific 07:00 (7AM) Eastern 10:00 (10AM) Rome 15:00 (3PM) OPTION #2 - TOYKO MORNING Tokyo 06:00 (6AM) Pacific 14:00 (2PM) Eastern 17:00 (5PM) Rome 22:00 (10PM) Since we've already got tomorrow's call calendared (no need to get up Nat -- your sleep is more important), let's discuss on tomorrow's call which of these two would work best. I'll add it to the agenda. =Drummond > -----Original Message----- > From: Nat Sakimura [mailto:n-sakimura@nri.co.jp] > Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2008 9:29 PM > To: John Bradley > Cc: Drummond Reed; xdi@lists.oasis-open.org > Subject: Re: [xdi] Agenda: XDI TC Telecon Thursday 1-2PM PT 2008-03-13 > > I guess that is good for the mother earth. > > Japan does not even go into daylight saving time at all that when the > new call schedule was called, I did not even think of it... > > SO, is it correct to understand that there are > > East Asia (+9) > European (0) > East Coast (-4) > West Coast (-7) > > > perticipant to this call? > > Can we re-coordinate the time again for daylight saving period? > > 5AM is a bit too much... > > My proposal would then something like: > > East Asia (+9) 23:00 Friday > European (0) 14:00 Friday > East Coast (-4) 10:00 Friday > West Coast (-7) 07:00 Friday > > or 1 hour later. > > For me, anything 06:00 to 24:00 is doable, but I want to avoid between > 00:00-06:00. > > =nat > > > > > John Bradley wrote: > > > Yes Nat, the silly Americans made us switch early again this year.
