1) INTERNET IDENTITY WORKSHOP UPDATE
More XDI sessions were held than every before. Mike demo'd the new OxGraph tool.
Drummond said the XDI Database session was very productive but could have gone longer and deeper (like most IIW sessions).
Mike also did a session called "What is the killer XDI app?" Surprisingly, photo sharing was one of the lead candidates - the problem is not really "solved" for all requirements. The other suggestion was medical records, followed by financial records.
Mike also got the feedback that when an RP (relying party) wants it, that will help adoption. Joesph also had a good conversation with Personal about what it will take them to adopt it. He is going to look at registering an app.
2) OPEN SOURCE PROJECT UPDATES
Mike showed a newer version of the OX Test Tool. He explained how it works with
The test requires two user IDs. One user creates a graph and link contract and the second user sends a request using that link contract.
Each test contains a description and provides a log file for the operation.
We will remove "Graph ID" and "Sender Inum" fields, because this can be discovered via the OpenID Connectattributes for inum.ClientID must be provided/.
Mike said there are about 20 additional test that they need to write - both positive and negative. The plan is to finish those next week - a total of about 76 tests.
After that the team plans to return to filters and link contracts.
Markus asked about using the i-number as an identifier of the user under OpenID Connect. Mike explained that the OX OpenID Connect server is configurable for what identifier is used to identify the user - it could be either the username or i-number.
Markus also asked about the message format used by the OX server.
# MARKUS will start a thread about message formats (or work with Mike to add the feature request to OX Server.)
Mike explained that the goal of the test suite is to establish a baseline of tests for the graph model.
If anyone wants to add more comments, feel free.
Markus did not have an update on his work - he's been busy at IIW.
Joseph is planning on attending PII in Seattle next week and plans to do XDI demos.
Phil explained that the team is exploring building a Perl XDI client for the Kynetx KRE server in order that the KRE server can expose XDI primitives to KRL developers.
3) OASIS TEST XDI SERVER
# MARKUS to check with Dee on finalization of this.
4) SPEC REPOSITORY REPORT
# DRUMMOND to check with Bill on this.
5) XDI QUERY
We will make this a topic for next week's call.
6) NEXT CALL
The next call is next week at the regular time.
