XDI TC Notes

Following are the notes of the unofficial telecon of the XDI TC held on:

The TC operates under a standing rule approved 17 July 2008 under which the TC does not hold regular official meetings and conducts all business by electronic ballot only. Unofficial weekly meetings are held to enable discussion among members but no business is conducted nor actions taken.

XDI Core: Spec Drafting Update

Drummond has uploaded several additional sections:

Drummond highlighted the following new sections:

• Lines 1880-1980: Aggregation Relations

• Lines 2003-2017: New Nominalization example

• Lines 2059+: the new XDI Addressing sections, including:

• REAL Sequences

• Specialization and Generalization

• Peer Roots and XDI Discovery

• Inner Roots and XDI Reification

The main sections remaining for Drummond to draft are:

• XDI Namespaces

• IRIs

• XDI Schemes

• Versioning

We ran out of time to tackle any additional topics on today’s call. Drummond will try to follow up with individual TC members this week for feedback on the new sections.
