Jörg, Thanks for your reply. Your idea of having a public editor's copy of XLIFF 2.0 is a very good one. David is the editor and is working very hard to keep an eye on the updates. I know he's occasionally distilling a fresh PDF in our source control. I will ask David to reply on the possibility of exposing an editor's copy to the public.
