Agenda ISO Submission Symposium Minutes Attendance: Peter R, Bryan, DavidF, Lucia, Yves. ISO submission: --------------------- DavidF: Peter, Is there any meeting TC37 scheduled? I mean do we have a specific deadline? I assume we haven’t made any progress so far, as Jamie did not respond in the meantime. Peter R: Not really, but we want to have this done asap. There is one annual TC37 meeting, one year in Europe, another in America. Area exerts may meet independently of the annual meeting. . I have contacted Jamie again; I am waiting for his answer. DavidF: So there’s no real deadline, yet we want to have it done asap, so that’s all now for ISO. DavidF: Peter, you have now back your voting rights. The rule actually two meetings in a row/not 3 out of 5 which we have enforced since the times immemorial. Peter: Really DavidF: sure, the reason for doing it wrong is that the reporting software states it is 3 out last 5. But the actual OASIS policy is 2 in a row.. Lucia: does the rule go the other way around? DavidF: that is right. You lose the voting right if you skip two meetings. It is simpler but also it can be harsher. In the past you could skip 2 meetings w/o losing voting if you attended three times before. Symposium, Vancouver Edition: ------------------------------------------- DavidF: Bryan, will you attend the symposium. Bryan: Yes, I will. We can make other arrangements off line. DavidF: Would you like to host a session? Bryan: I have some ideas, I can have half an hour. DavidF: that’s great, could you submit your proposal through Easychair? DavidF: we still need more registration (we are around 15, and 20 or so would be great for a pre-conference). There are quite a few competing pre-conferences this time round. DavidF: Alan and his assistant are working on a tool that could extract TBX from the glossary module in XLIFF 2.0. It has a good momentum. DavidF: Meeting adjourned.
