Subject: RE: [xliff-seg] Additional attributes proposal document

Hi Andrzej,

Thank you very much for an excellent job on this. I have read it
carefully and I have only a couple of minor comments:

* "...without reference to one or more following <trans-unit> elements"
- I suggest changing "following" to "surrounding".

* "After careful considerations, the XLIFF Segmentation Sub-Committee
has come to the conclusion that the following additions are require to
the XLIFF 1.1 standard"
- typo: "require" should be "required".

* "All <trans-unit> elements that are encompassed by a <group> element
that has its merged-translations element set to "yes" are required to
have a equivalent-translation attribute set to the value of "no"."
- In fact there can still be <trans-unit> elements which happen to be
equivalent translations inside the <group>, so I would propose to change
this to: "<trans-unit> elements that are encompassed by a <group>
element that has its merged-translations element set to "yes" normally
have a equivalent-translation attribute set to the value of "no"."

* "... the <source element..."
- missing an angular bracket.

* In the inserted section 2.7, "The default value of this attribute will
be "yes". The other possible value will be "no"..."
- change both instances of "will be" to "is".

* For sake of completeness, could you also provide suggested
descriptions for the new attributes, as they should appear in section
3.3 of the specification?

Cheers,
Magnus

Hi Everyone,

Please find attached the first draft of my submission. This one deals
with the additional attributes. I will complete the next part concerning

the description of the method segmenting and secondary extraction of
XLIFF files by the beginning of the next week.

Best Regards,

AZ
