3/ Spec 1.1
progress
There are two weeks
left to submit proposals. These should be sent to the XLIFF TC mailing list by
May 1st. These proposals will be grouped together and discussed at the face to
face meeting.
There was a debate
on whether or not we should limit emails to the list to the original proposal.
It was agreed that the threads which are emerging are very worthwhile. It was
also suggested that the original proposer might like to comment on suggestions
in the thread.
4/ Face to face
meeting.
This will be held on
May 9th. and 10th. 2002. It will be held in the Berlitz GlobalNET's office in
Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The room has an AV projector, whiteboards, conference
phone etc. We will also have a break-out room. Parking is limited so if you
need parking space please contact Peter. You should also contact Peter if you
have any other queries regarding the meeting facilities. We will provide a map
and directions nearer the time.
If anyone has not
booked accommodation please contact Peter or Tony who will try to
help.
Jonathan has offered
the use of his WebEx account so that anyone calling in will be able to see a
whiteboard and any presentational material.
The purpose of the
meeting will be to define the objectives of XLIFF v. 1.1, update the mission
statement to take 1.1 into account, decide on 1.1 and create a roadmap for
future developments of XLIFF.
It has planned to
have dinner as a group on Friday evening.
