Hi Enda: I may be mistaken, but I was under the impression that XSD attribute values lists can only be extended using the "x- " prefix pattern. Also, any attribute value extended in this way cannot be validated.. Would one of our XSD experts confirm that we can't extend attributes values lists using namespace extensions? If namepace extensions are permitted for attribute lists, then I'd be all for dropping these values from the spec, adding perhaps a short note describing how to extend in this manner. Comments, anyone?
