Subject: Small error in XLIFF specification example and HTML profile document
All, While validating an XLIFF 1.1 XML document against the
schema, xliff-core-1.1.xsd dated Friday, October 17, 2003, 9:25:08 AM, I
discovered that there is no restype=’row’. The examples show using
restype=’row’ for table rows. Specifically, the example in section 2.5.2 of the XLIFF 1.1
specification, xliff-core-1.1-draft-16.htm, shows <group restype=’row’>
in two (2) places. Similarly, the section 2.5 in the HTML profile document, xliff-profile-html-1.1-draft-1.html,
uses <group restype=’row’>
in two (2) places in one of the examples. In the table for element TR in section 4 of the HTML
profile, the value is ‘row’. TR mixed
row There are restype’s defined for ‘table’
and ‘cell’, but I could not find one for ‘row’ after
searching both the schema and specification. Assuming we wish to not change the schema itself, the
restype for table rows in the examples and HTML profile should be changed to ‘x-html-tr’. <group restype=’x-html-tr’> TR mixed
