Apologies if you get this twice, I have included your emails in the BCC as well as sent this to the XLIFF list.
I would like to raise the XLIFF Symposium 2011 at Tuesday’s meeting.
TM-Europe 2011 which I help organise has volunteered to host the event this year. I would like to go through some of the plans, get a programme committee organised and deal with any queries you may have.
TM-Europe 2011 is taking place at the Marriott Hotel, Warsaw, Poland on September 29th & 30th. We would like to have the XLIFF Symposium 2011 at the same venue on Wednesday 28th of September. The intention is to have a similar format to last year.
Last year the programme committee was called a scientific committee. Is there any reason for this or is programme commit OK? I would also like 4 volunteers from the TC to sit on the programme committee. I would appreciate you also thinking whether someone else should sit on this committee.
I would like the call for papers to be launched at the end of February/ beginning of March. Is that OK?
I would appreciate any suggestions you so that we can build on last year’s successes.
