Subject: RE: [xri] W3C's URI Activity re-started

I'm not sure we need any sort of formal participation - the IG has a loosely defined charter with no real deliverables, but it is a place for those who are interested in URI issues to congregate. So if we proactively want to get the discussion going, thats probably the place. I don't have any real thoughts on topics to discuss there except perhaps to send an announcement asking for review when we are ready.

I agree, Gabe, with XRI 2.0 coming out into the world of adoption shortly, and with the way it builds on the foundation of URIs and IRIs, we have a big stake in the larger arena. How do you suggest we might participate in the W3C URI Activity?

Maybe something we should consider..
