Subject: RE: [xri] Metadata I1 - Identifier Type
Marty, I think Peter's is a good suggestion. Could we put it on the agenda for this Friday morning's XRI TC call that you will do an introduction to Boeing's and NACs requirements for identifier semantics/interoperability so that the whole TC can be educated on the issues that Dave McAlpin and I have been discussing with you for the past several months? I think that will help us reach consensus about the best way to go forward with regards to the proposals for the Metadata spec. =Drummond -----Original Message----- From: Peter Davis [mailto:peter.davis@neustar.biz] Sent: Tuesday, September 13, 2005 5:59 AM To: Drummond Reed; 'Dave McAlpin'; Mikw Linselsee; xri@lists.oasis-open.org Cc: 'Schleiff, Marty' Subject: Re: [xri] Metadata I1 - Identifier Type > > Since he is the one most familiar with these requirements, the fastest thing > would probably be to schedule a phone call with Marty. As this is the case, it would be most beneficial to the TC that this occur on a TC call, allowing the entire TC to benefit from the detailed description of the use case(s). Having a private call, I think, is less productive. --- peterd
