MINUTES

1) W3C TAG PAPER ON URNS, NAMESPACES, AND REGISTRIES
The W3C TAG has published a draft paper at:

	http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/doc/URNsAndRegistries-50.html 

We agreed this document needs further discussion, most likely on a separate
telecon arranged for this purpose.


2) XRI RESOLUTION 2.0 WORKING DRAFT 11 ISSUES/TASKS LIST
We spent over two hours discussing the WD11 wiki page at:

	http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xri/Xri2Cd02/ResWorkingDraft11

This is an highly effective way to work issues, as we were able to update
the list in real time as we determined which issues could be closed, and
addded discussion comments to open issues.

See the wiki page for a complete record of all discussions. In summary form:

 * Ten issues (#1-5, 7, 8, 12, 17, and 22) are now closed.
 * 13 issues (#6, 9, 10, 11, 13-21, and 23) remain open, although
substantial progress was made on several of these.

The XRI Resolution 2.0 editors agreed to hold another telecon devoted
exclusively to closing open issues next Monday, August 21, at 4PM PT, using
the same telecon number as the weekly telecon. Any interested TC member is
invited to join.
