Subject: RE: [xri] New wiki pages for discussing XRI 2.1 Syntax
After input from with Marty Schlieff and
Wil Tan, updates were made to the following three wiki pages: * http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xri/XriCd02/XriAbnf2dot1 * http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xri/XriCd02/GlobalXrefs * http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xri/XriCd02/ParseTreeExamples
The updates were only to the terminology used in the ABNF
rule names. The change was made to emphasize conformity with the abstract
syntax model proposed by Steve Churchill where all XRI segments decompose into either
literals or xrefs, and both can be either global, local, or typeless. This means
all subsegments now conform to one of six ABNF rules: * global-literal * local-literal * typeless-literal * global-xref * local-xref * typeless-xref This is now consistent across the ABNF and
examples. =Drummond |
