AGENDA

1) ANNOUNCEMENT OF BARX AND YAPI

The TC congratulated Victor and Kermit on their Barx announcment, posted to
the list this morning:

	http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xri/200710/msg00049.html

Victor and Kermit welcome feedback from implementers. They also explained
that Yapi is the name they have assigned to the XRI authority server API
implementation they are planning. Markus and Wil said they would be happy
for OpenXRI to cooperate with Barx on developing a generalized authority
server API.

2) REVIEW OF XRI RESOLUTION 2.0 WORKING DRAFT 11 ED06

The main focus of the call was review of this near-final draft.

Also, the revised XRD schema (Appendix D) is not included in ED06 but was
completed yesterday has been uploaded to:

d

Lastly, a draft of the Conformance section has been posted to the wiki at:

	http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xri/XriCd02/ConformanceSection

On the call, we did a step through of the first half of ED06. The following
revisions were noted:

* Gabe suggested we avoid the term "XRD Document" when we are referring to
an XRD element inside an XRDS document, and use it only when referring to an
XRD as standalone output.

* Gabe suggested that the new overview flowchart should go in its own
introductory section.

* There was consensus that the new flowcharts were much easier to follow.

* Markus suggested better wording for the IMPORTANT box in the Redirect and
Ref section.

We next discussed review of the updated XRD schema. No one has been able to
look it over closely yet, so everyone took on this task. Specifically:

# GABE to review it by next Wednesday.

# DRUMMOND to send reminder note to Bill Barnhill asking him to review it
and generate the RelaxNG version.

# KERMIT to add a testing function to Barx to have any XRDS document it
resolves validated against the updated schema.

Next, Drummond suggested that two outstanding items in the spec --
references to examples (which had been planned for an XRI Implementers
Guide), and references to XRI public proxy resolves and registry services --
be satisified by using an informative reference to the XRI page at
Wikipedia. There was consensus that this approach fulfills the requirements
while maintaining seperation between the spec and public
implementations/examples.

3) ASSIGNMENT OF REMAINING TODOS AND SCHEDULE FOR COMMITTEE DRAFT 02 VOTE

We reviewed the handful of remaining action items at:

	http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xri/Xri2Cd02/ResWorkingDraft11

# WIL to send Drummond an update to Appendix H.

# ALL EDITORS AND IMPLEMENTERS to finish reviewing ED06 and send any
comments/revisions to the list by noon PT on Friday if possible, and by noon
Monday in order for them to go into ED07.

# DRUMMOND to attend to all remaining action items as well as do a complete
read-through of the spec and post ED07 by Monday night.

The goal is to agree to a Committee Draft vote after next week's telecon.
