Requests to XRI TC Administrator for Comm. Spec. and OASIS Standard votes

Per the minutes of the XRI TC telecon today (attached below and posted at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xri/200804/msg00008.html), the XRI TC
would like to request that you conduct votes to:

* Approve XRI Resolution 2.0 Committee Draft 03 as a Committee
Specification.

* Submit the XRI Resolution 2.0 Committee Specification for an OASIS
Standard vote.

* Submit the XRI Syntax 2.0 Committee Specification for an OASIS Standard
vote.

The detailed motions and links required per the TC process are listed under
agenda item #3 in the minutes below. Please note that the two OASIS Standard
submission motions include a Designated Crossreference Change. As we are the
first TC to use this process, I hope we have worded this correctly.

Per the requirements of the TC process to submit a Committee Specification
for an OASIS Standard vote, below are the links to the Statements of Use for
both XRI Syntax 2.0 and XRI Resolution 2.0:

3) COMMITTEE SPECIFICATION AND OASIS STANDARD VOTE REQUESTS

There was unanimous agreement on the following motions:

A) Because no changes were made as a result of the public review, the TC
requests that the TC Administrator conduct a ballot to approve XRI
Resolution 2.0 Committee Draft 03 as a Committee Specification. The

We reviewed the first draft presentation for the XRI 2.0 webinar:

* Talking to Bill Washburn of the OpenID Foundation about a quote.

* Add Nat's name in Japanese as an example to show internationalization.

4) PROGRESS REPORT ON XRI 2.0 FAQ

Les and John had not yet made progress on editing the FAQ -- that will
happen over the next two weeks. 


5) WHITE PAPER

Nika has done an outline on the wiki. Drummond will work with him on turning
this into a first draft.
