AGENDA

1) XRI 2.0 VOTE SUPPORT

The OASIS Standard vote on XRI Syntax 2.0 and XRI Resolution 2.0 started on
May 15. As of 5PM PT today, the tally is currently:

	Syntax	21 Yes, 1 No
	Resolution	22 Yes, 1 No

The No vote was cast today by Sun, and it included the following comment:

	"Sun currently does not support XRI; we are in agreement with W3C's
TAG opinion to be found at
	http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-tag/2008May/0078.html";

Our main topic for this discussion will be the efforts we should take to add
comments to our own votes, or encourage votes from other supporters, or
otherwise communicate the reasons OASIS members should support the XRI 2.0
specifications.


2) PLANNING FOR OASIS ANNOUNCEMENT

Since we are in the final voting period, planning has begun for an OASIS
announcement in the case the vote is successful. OASIS Director of
Communications Carol Geyer sent an announcement about the planned press
release yesterday:

We will discuss the ways in which TC members can participate in and support
this announcement.
