Subject: Re: [xslt-conformance] RE: IPR policy question -- p.s.
I think Eudora may have helped to create some confusion about what I was suggesting, in the "abbreviated-reference" option. Here is the suggested text from my message: "Copyright (C) The Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards [OASIS] (2001). All Rights Reserved. Copyright, liability, trademark, document use, and software licensing as defined in http://www.oasis-open.org/who/intellectualproperty.shtml apply." Eudora attached a hyperlink to the URL which I typed out in the last line. I did not mean to imply that the URL had to support an active hyperlink. Rather, it is simply an unambiguous reference to a place where the detailed legalese resides. If there is a hyperlink on it, fine. If you have to type that string into the Location window of a browser, fine. If you have to telephone or fax OASIS to get a copy, fine. I hope this removes some possible confusion. -Lofton.
