Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (AMQPBINDMAP-13) Identity between web and AMQP

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/AMQPBINDMAP-13?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=59637#comment-59637 ]

Steve Huston commented on AMQPBINDMAP-13:

If connecting to amqp direct from web, ok to use auth. If hop-by-hop then either amqp or ws needs to be anonymous. Could also promote the ws identity to the amqp layer but needs smarter gateway.

Rob G: thinks maybe we should add guidance later, but nothing in the spec now.
