If connecting to amqp direct from web, ok to use auth. If hop-by-hop then either amqp or ws needs to be anonymous. Could also promote the ws identity to the amqp layer but needs smarter gateway.

Rob G: thinks maybe we should add guidance later, but nothing in the spec now.
