Steve has notified me that he will be leaving OASIS and that the chair seat will very shortly become vacant. So you need to elect a new chair before continuing your work.
Electing a chair requires a Fill Majority Vote - that is, an affirmative vote by over 50% of the Voting Members. You have 7 VMs so 4 votes will be needed at a minimum. Note that the person elected chair need *not* be a VM.
The best way to do this is for one or two TC members to be nominated (either self-nominate or someone else can nominate) and then you can either approval her/him/them in a quorate meeting or set up an electronic ballot. I will be happy to set up the ballot for you if you like.
